Dr Muthuswamy Anandaraj award for the Best original research paper presented in Crop protection during PLACROSYM 24 was won by Mr Francis Lijo Mendez, Project Associate and Dr P Nepolean, Plant Pathologist for the paper entitled “A Synergistic Approach of Biomolecules against Foliar Diseases under Integrated Plant Health Management in Tea”.

Entomologist at UPASI TRF Valparai, Dr. Rabeesh T P, has been honoured by the Dr. N Muraleedharan Foundation for his outstanding contributions to entomological research benefiting tea plantations in South India.
Best Oral Presentation Award
Dr. Rajkumar and Revanth Raj Mohan won the Best Oral Presentation Award for their paper 'Evaluation of Potash Derived from Molasses' in the technical session on Resource Use Efficient Technologies & Systems Approaches during the 25th National Symposium on Plantation Crops (PLACROSYM XXV) at IIOPR, Eluru.
