We are at a historic milestone as the UPASI Tea Research Foundation is completing 100 years of pioneering research, innovation, and service to the tea industry in South India.
Established in October 1926 in Gudalur, Tamil Nadu, as the Tea Experimental Station, the Foundation stands as the Second Tea Research Institute in India and the Third-oldest Tea Research Institution in the World.
As we celebrate 100 Years of Excellence in Tea Research, a series of year-long celebrations and events will be announced soon.
